I certify that the information provided in this application is complete, accurate, and truthful to the best of my knowledge. I understand that any misrepresentation, omission, or falsification of information may result in disqualification from consideration for employment or, if hired, immediate termination. I authorize J.B. Steel to verify all information contained in this application, including but not limited to my employment history, education, certifications, and references.

I consent to J.B. Steel conducting a background check, which may include an investigative consumer report on my character, general reputation, personal characteristics, and work history. If a background check is conducted, I understand that I have the right to request, in writing, full disclosure of the nature and scope of the investigation. Additionally, if required by J.B. Steel, I agree to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination conducted by a company-designated medical professional. I acknowledge that my employment is contingent upon successfully passing these screenings.

If hired, I agree to abide by all company policies, procedures, and regulations, understanding that they may be modified at the company’s discretion. I acknowledge that J.B. Steel’s employee handbooks, manuals, and policies do not create an employment contract and that my employment is at-will, meaning it may be terminated by me or the company at any time, with or without cause or notice, except as otherwise required by law. I further understand that no representative of J.B. Steel, other than the President in a signed, written agreement, has the authority to modify my at-will employment status or to make any promises regarding the duration or terms of my employment.

Additionally, I acknowledge that all intellectual property, inventions, ideas, designs, and work products created by me during my employment with J.B. Steel, whether patentable or not, will be the sole property of the company. I agree to assign all rights, including copyright and patent rights, to J.B. Steel as required.

Furthermore, I recognize that during my employment, I may have access to confidential and proprietary information, including trade secrets, client lists, business strategies, and other sensitive company data. I agree to maintain the confidentiality of this information both during and after my employment with J.B. Steel, disclosing it only as required in the course of my duties or with explicit company authorization.
