Andrew Weil Center

Project Overview:

J.B. Steel helped bring one of the University of Arizona’s most architecturally celebrated facilities to life through the fabrication and installation of exposed structural steel systems that became a defining part of the building’s design. Rather than being concealed behind finishes, the steel was intentionally exposed throughout the project to create openness and a visible connection between architecture and structure.

The project features prominent steel framing, extended roof overhangs, shaded circulation areas, and outdoor gathering spaces that help moderate the desert climate while shaping the experience of visitors and students.
